Aggravated Robbery – Reduced to Misdemeanor
The client was charged with aggravated robbery following a dispute involving a Facebook Marketplace transaction. We presented evidence showing the incident was a misunderstanding rather than a robbery. The felony charge was ultimately reduced to a misdemeanor.
Aggravated Robbery – Grand Jury No Bill
The client was accused of aggravated robbery after becoming involved in a dispute between two other individuals. We presented evidence showing the other parties were substantially more culpable. The grand jury declined to indict.
Assault – Case Rejected
The client was arrested for assault. We quickly obtained an affidavit of non-prosecution from the complaining witness and presented it to prosecutors. The case was rejected before formal prosecution.
Assault – Case Dismissed
The client, an off-duty police officer, was charged following a bar altercation. After completing anger management and presenting mitigating evidence, the case was dismissed.
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Grand Jury No Bill
The client was accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Using 911 recordings and witness interviews gathered during the investigation, we demonstrated that the client acted in self-defense. The grand jury returned a no bill.
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Reduced and Dismissed
The client faced aggravated assault charges involving allegations that a firearm was used during a domestic dispute. We presented evidence regarding the relationship history and challenged the allegation that a weapon was used or exhibited. The grand jury reduced the case to a misdemeanor, which was later dismissed.
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Case Dismissed

Murder – Grand Jury No Bill

Capital Murder – Grand Jury No Bill

We presented evidence demonstrating the alleged actor had independent motives and that the client was not criminally responsible under Texas law. The grand jury declined to indict.
DWI and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon – Deferred Adjudication and Dismissal
The client was arrested for DWI and unlawful carry of a weapon after a traffic stop. We negotiated a resolution that resulted in deferred adjudication probation on the DWI and dismissal of the weapons charge, preserving future record-sealing opportunities.
Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon – Reduced
The client was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon after a firearm was located in a vehicle. We obtained evidence from the vehicle owner accepting responsibility for the firearm. The case was reduced to a misdemeanor without additional jail time.
Felony Family Violence Impeding Breath – Reduced to Misdemeanor
The client faced felony allegations involving impeding breath or circulation. After obtaining an affidavit of non-prosecution and presenting mitigation evidence, the case was reduced to a misdemeanor with deferred probation.
Possession of a Controlled Substance – Case Dismissed
The client, a high school student, was arrested after being found in possession of a marijuana vape pen. We provided evidence of continued sobriety, academic success, and positive life circumstances. The case was dismissed.
Possession of a Controlled Substance – Case Dismissed
The client entered treatment and successfully completed an extended period of rehabilitation and sober living. After demonstrating significant progress and commitment to recovery, the case was dismissed.
Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Tampering with Evidence – Reduced Resolution
The client was charged with two first-degree felony delivery offenses and tampering with evidence. Through negotiations, we convinced prosecutors to proceed on only one charge. The client received deferred adjudication probation and the opportunity to seek record sealing in the future.
Collision Involving Injury – Case Dismissed
The client was charged after leaving the scene of an accident in a construction zone. We presented evidence that the client had relocated to a safer location and had already addressed the damages through insurance. The case was dismissed.
Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle – Reduced to Misdemeanor
The client purchased a vehicle that was later discovered to be stolen. We presented evidence regarding the client’s age, lack of criminal intent, and circumstances surrounding the purchase. The felony charge was reduced to a misdemeanor, with probation and eligibility for future record sealing.
